Nothing on television tonight so have been surfing (the net). Did you know that on the Downing Street Petitions site (http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/list/open?cat=557) there are over 600 petitions ongoing on health alone. They range from
"Recognise specifically that chronic pain and chronic fatigue cause incapacity at work" (a very good one) to "Bring back the nit nurse" (still ranks in importanceBigGrin ).

It is fascinating and heartbreaking to see the problems that people are facing out there. I know on the television tonight there is another live debate between the contenders for the next Government but how on earth are we ever going to get our health issues right if there are so many problems unaddressed. I have not dared look at all the other categories of petitions. I am afraid I am not very interested in politics but I know this country needs a big sort out with a very big boot.

The petitions site is closed for signatures until the next Government is elected but I shall be going back to add my signature to quite a few petitions.
